Here is the second edition of the love-centric poems written by some of our famous alumni. We hope that you will take time to enjoy the poetry and indulge in a little love this Valentine`s Day.

What is your idea of the modern girl? Is she sporty and educated, a superwoman who can juggle work and family well or just a loving person who accommodates and is opinionated? S. Manickam expands on his idea in `The VIII A Rafflesian,1951`.

A number of our notable alumni are excellent artists - poets, playwrights and writers. We present to you their poetry - centred around love of course, for Valentine`s Day.
